Rawbit Foundation conducted an innovative digital payment literacy workshop that successfully trained 40 rural women in using modern financial technology tools. The comprehensive session covered UPI payments, mobile banking, online transactions, digital wallets, and online safety practices. Many participants, who had never used smartphones for financial purposes, learned to make payments, check account balances, and transfer money digitally. The workshop used simple, hands-on demonstrations in local language to ensure easy understanding. Women expressed excitement about their newfound digital independence and confidence in managing financial transactions without depending on others. This initiative is part of Rawbit Foundation's broader digital empowerment mission, helping bridge the gender digital divide in rural areas. The foundation plans to organize similar workshops in more villages to create a digitally literate and financially empowered women community.
